Description

DaeOh Bookstore

DaeOh Bookstore is a traditional bookstore that has been operating since 1960. Nowadays, it is a cafe.

Once upon a time, this bookstore was very popular because many schools were built near it. Many parents bring their children here because of the traditional interior design and the good environment for study. Nowadays, as e-reading technology improves, people no longer need to visit this store.
The bookstore owner wants to keep their old memories, so they decided to change it to a cafe.
This place became famous because Korean singer IU had taken her album photo here.

  1. Franck –

Really nice tour! Good surprises at some visit, and a really informative and accommodating guide! Me and my family are just pleased by this tour who brought us to places we would have never been if by our own. No regrets, and thanks a lot to onedaykorea who take good care of my children for their first trip in Asia. Highly recommended.

  2. Jyy1889 –

Excellent tour – plenty of walking, ample time to really enjoy local experiences, see different sights to typical touristy ones, savour local foods, and shop in non-touristy places. Beautiful mountain sceneries too. Terry and Bryan were excellent – very friendly, courteous and accommodating. Felt as if we spent the day with friends! Highly recommended for those want to take it slow and experience a different part of Seoul which only locals know.
