Seoul has two faces — modern and traditional — and this tour covers both in a single day.
It is the itinerary we recommend for a first visit, and many guests book it for their first day in the city. Seeing the palaces, the hanok village, and the city skyline early gives you a map in your head for the rest of your trip.
Gyeongbokgung, Bukchon, Insadong, Jogyesa, and N Seoul Tower are spread across the city. On public transport, with time spent finding entrances and buying tickets, most visitors manage two or three of these in a day. With a private vehicle and a guide who knows the traffic patterns, you see all of them and still have time to linger.
If the palace holds your attention, stay. If a market is not your thing, skip it. Nothing is on a fixed schedule shared with forty strangers.
We have guided families ranging from small children to travelers in their eighties in a single group. If someone in your party has difficulty walking, tell us beforehand and your guide will plan the route around it — shorter walking distances, closer drop-off points, more time to rest.
Our guides know the best spots for photos at each site and take them for you, then send the files afterward. Couples and families who normally only have selfies tend to mention this more than anything else.
| 09:30 | Hotel pickup in central Seoul |
| 10:00 | Royal Guard Changing Ceremony at Gwanghwamun |
| 10:30 | Gyeongbokgung Palace and the Blue House |
| 12:00 | Bukchon Hanok Village |

Times are approximate and the order can change. On Tuesdays, Gyeongbokgung Palace is closed and we visit Changdeokgung Palace instead. The Royal Guard Changing Ceremony may be cancelled in bad weather.
We start from your hotel and head to Gyeongbokgung, the first and formal palace of the Joseon Dynasty (1392-1910). Surrounded by inner-city mountains and the downtown skyline, it has an out-of-this-world quality. Standing in front of Gwanghwamun Gate, you look down Sejong Road, where King Sejong sits on his throne looking over his people, with Admiral Yi Sun-sin nearby.
In the front yard inside Gwanghwamun you see the Royal Guard Changing Ceremony. Marching to traditional instruments, the soldiers take disciplined but elegant strides in colorful uniforms with pheasant tails on their heads.
The palace changes completely with the season — spring flowers, the green scent of summer trees, yellow and orange autumn foliage, white snow in winter. You also walk to the Blue House, the president’s office and residence, just across from the palace’s north gate.
Passing galleries, museums, shops, eateries, and cafes, you arrive at Bukchon Hanok Village. Walk down through traditional Korean architecture, following the curves and straight lines of roofs and walls in the clustered houses. Unlike other hanok villages, people still live here.
Insadong is a must-visit — the original gallery town where old calligraphy, landscape paintings, and ceramics were traded. The street is now packed with shops selling unique traditional gifts and souvenirs.
Nearby, Jogyesa Temple is small but serves as headquarters for over 2,000 local temples. The shrine, prayer hall, Sarira pagoda, and wall paintings are worth the stop, and you can take time to sit quietly in the middle of a busy day if you want to.
We end at N Seoul Tower, 479.7m above the city at the top of Namsan Mountain, with a full panorama of the megacity. Notice the thousands of colorful padlocks fastened to the terrace fence, each one a couple’s promise.

Joe spoke perfect English and was very knowledgeable and accommodating. We made special arrangements to have us picked up at the cruise terminal and have our luggage transported to the hotel. There was an additional cost to this, which we knew up front, and agreed to. This worked out perfectly.
We went to the Seoul Tower and went up it. Spectacular.
He brought us to a delicious authentic Korean lunch, which was included. He guided us through the food selection and showed us the eating customs.
We also got to the the changing of the guard at the Palace. Fantastic experience. We then walked through its beautiful grounds. Lastly, we visited a residential area which was very popular to see how this has become a desirable area.
Joe dropped us off at our hotel, but he actually went in the hotel helping us with our luggage and making sure he was there to translate if necessary to insure we had a smooth check-in.
Joe was personable and helped give us insight into south Korean living. I would very highly recommend this fully customizable tour and Joe.

Travis H –
We had an AMAZING tour with Jin as our guide. She is so sweet. We saw a beautiful palace with a really long name, a history museum, the village outside of the palace, ate lunch at an authentic Korean restaurant, saw an amazing street market,
A buddist temple during lantern season, and finished off with a view of the city from atop a mountain. Jin was very knowledgeable and courteous. She even took us to a money exchange store on request. All in all, a great tour.
Nancy B –

Brian was amazing. By the end of the day, it felt like I made a new friend. This was sight seeing, of course, but also learning about Korean culture. He invited all questions. For the palace, he took us to a Birds Eye view from another building. Then he timed our visit perfectly and had us stand where we had the best view.
Lauren T –
Had a great time seeing the city with Jin. She brought us to all the highlights and had lots to show us. Lunch was delicious and she also grabbed us some treats from the market. Would highly recommend for your trip especially day 1.

The “Seoul city private full day tour including lunch ” was the best tour I ever had. The guest was just me with my husband so we decide where and what to do . I enjoyed visiting the N Seoul tower and also visiting the C palace. I decided to wear a hanbok dress , feeling korean style . I had too much fun learning the history of Korean . Thanks to our best tour guide name Brian Jeong.
FR R –

Michelle P –
We packed in a ton of highlights of Seoul in a private tour. Janet, our tour guide, was super friendly and ensured we were able to fit all the activities in the day.
Bert S –
Great guide and tour. We were able to adjust our start time and were accommodated. Still able to see all major sites and activities. Our guide, Clara, was so patient, understanding and had such great energy.
Miryam C –
We spent the day seeing the most interesting sights of Seoul which is an unremarkable start this review. What was amazing, as we drove around town and walked key sights, was the sheer volume of knowledge about Korean history and culture that Suni brought to bear, all of it delivered with aplomb. We were in such great hands…without question this was the best introduction to a new city that we’ve ever had. Even when the unexpected popped up, Suni didn’t miss a beat and ensured that we were always comfortable. We were so grateful. Needless to say we recommend this tour and Suni in particular.
Yong B –
Jin took us through Seoul. With her secret special spots we had a chance to see the very beautiful side of the city. Thanks to her, we had a wonderful time.
Erin N –
I felt like I got so much in in my five hour layover. A real sense of the city without rushing. Joe pick me up early because he saw the flight was early and he took great care of me, personalizing my trip so I could learn more about Korean tea and buy some back home. We hit the highlights and I learned about Korean history. We ate an authentic Korean lunch and topped it off with delicious street food. It was really a perfect five hours.
Christopher C –
Our guide, Joe, shared his country’s culture and made it fun. He ensured we experienced all the important aspects. He had the perfect pace and took good care of us.
Jesse M –
Joe was a warm and knowledgeable guide. He thoughtfully answered our questions throughout the day about everything from the sights we were seeing to Korean history, politics, and culture. Since we were on a private tour, he offered to customize the experience however we liked, so we added Gwangjang Market, which was a lot of fun. The restaurant he took us to for lunch was not touristy and offered delicious, authentic traditional Korean food that I probably wouldn’t have known to order if Joe didn’t make the suggestions. All in all, Joe made it a seamless experience to see the major sights in Seoul in an efficient and interesting manner.
Jean C –
Wonderful tour. Our guide, Brian, was terrific. He answered our questions thoroughly and gave us an excellent background into about the historical context of the sights.

We were with Brian the whole day and when we wanted to pivot in the afternoon to more if a food tour, Brian knew just the spots to take us. We loved seeing Seoul and tasting all of the local cuisine.
Emily S –
Jin was very knowledgeable of the culture and history. She made the day very fun and educational . I would take a tour with her again!
Margaret S –
Brian was an excellent tour guide. He took us where we wanted to go and explained about Korean history and culture without going over the top. He was also conscious and considerate of our ability as we are both in our 70’s. Thank you Brian for a great day out.
Vishal P –
Our guide Brian was very knowledgeable and also very patient. Ken L –
Janet was our lovely guide today. Janet was excellent and our family had a the most memorable day in Seoul.
Janet was very professional and knowledgable.
Gyeongbokgung Palace was closed so we had a change in our itinerary. We swapped for N Seoul tower first which was a great call by Janet as there were less people which meant that there was less wait time and more viewing time.
Bukchon Hanok Village was our next stop. In addition to the standard paths, Janet took us to the Baek In-Jae House/museum, and that was extra special.
Insa-dong Culture Street and Jogyesa Temple was historic and spiritual.
After a delicious traditional Korean lunch, we visited Changdeokgung. Janet’s insightful and focused narrative of the Palace, really helped us to better understand Korea’s history.
Finally, our tour ended at Namdaemun Market. We enjoyed some yummy market street foods, as recommended by Janet.
All in all, it was a fantastic day. We really appreciated Janet’s warm and friendly hospitality. Many, many thanks again for such wonderful memories. Highly recommend you take this tour and ask for Janet.
Charles S –
By far the best private excursion we’ve ever taken. Alfonso was fabulous! Great personality, knowledgeable, professional and great sense of humor. Highly recommend. Mandy K –
Great day seeing the sights of Seoul! Our tour guide Suni was amazing and made the entire day so unique.
GUADALUPE N –
Joe was our tour guide in Seoul on August 10, 2025 and he did an excellent job. He picked us up from the Cruise Terminal right on time, and his vehicle was spacious and comfortable. He drove us safely through the city and later dropped us off at our hotel without any issues. During the tour, Joe took us to some of the most beautiful temples and palaces in Seoul. Visiting Gyeongbokgung Palace was a highlight—the palace was breathtaking, and Joe kindly helped us take great pictures. I also learned from him that its name means “Palace of the Great Blessing,” originally built in 1395, with separate areas for the King’s mother, the Queen, and other pavilions surrounded by flowers. He also guided us through a traditional market, where we had the chance to taste delicious local foods, and we visited the serene Jogyesa Temple. The itinerary felt very complete, and Joe managed our time perfectly, keeping everything easygoing and enjoyable. Overall, we had a wonderful experience exploring Seoul with Joe. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive throughout the day. I highly recommend Joe and this tour to anyone visiting the city.

Janet is the absolute best tour guide! She is a consummate professional. She is very knowledgeable and provided in depth information about each attraction. Janet’s English is impeccable and she helped us with Korean pronunciations. Viator is very lucky and fortunate to have her on their team!! It was a wonderful experience. I recommend Janet to other travelers considering a visit to Seoul.
Choo K –
Full-day private tour is the way to go if this is your first visit. The tour hits the major sites which you can adjust when coordinating with your tour guide/driver. It is a very full day so I suggest you wear comfortable shoes. If you include Namsan Tower in your tour, don’t forget to buy a love lock that you can lock on the fence that aligns the tower. Our driver, Suni, was awesome – knowledgeable and friendly.
betty g –
Brian was fabulous! He was an excellent guide and very knowledgeable. He took us to wonderful sites in Seoul. He explained things clearly and helped us get to know Seoul and South Korea better. He encouraged us to try things, such as lotus tea and appetizers at lunch. Brian helped us pick out candy for friends back home. This was our first time in Seoul. We had such a wonderful and positive experience.
Suzanne Z –
We wanted a full day private tour for our first full day in Seoul to get oriented before a few days on our own. Brian (our wonderful guide) arrived on time in front of our hotel and gave us a terrific overview of Seoul which he customized real time based on our interests. Brian was incredibly articulate and incredibly knowledgeable about Korean history snd culture. In addition to getting a great overview of Seoul the city, we learned a lot about Korea which enhanced the rest of our touring on our own in Seoul. We recommend this tour and highly recommend Brian!!!

We had a full-day private tour of Seoul with Brian. He spoke fluent English, which he learned in Korea, and used idioms and intonation impressively. My last visit to Korea was 45 years ago. The transformation Korea has achieved is nothing short of a miracle. Seoul has become a model modern city that is safe, clean, high-tech, and entertaining. It is no wonder so many people are visiting Korea.
In addition to a tour of the palace and Honok village, Insadong, and a nice lunch at an outdoor cafe, we hiked Namsan Mountain. Brian helped me understand the mindset of the Korean people and the geopolitical conditions and culture that drove the transformation. Thank you, Brian.
Valerie K –
We enjoyed seeing North Seoul – the older part of the city. We had the chance to see both historic sites and experience local areas.
Tim B –
Brian was our tour guide and he was friendly and informative. We were in Korea for a week and this tour was our first day in Seoul and in Korea and I wanted us to tour the city, both old and new and get the lay of the land. My wife was adopted from Korea and it had been 45 years since she had been back there. She had wonderful conversations in Korean with Brian. I do want to note however, that within the first five minutes of our tour, before our first stop, Brain laughed and made a personal comment about me and our family dynamics. That threw me for a loop, however, it hurt but I took it in stride. That is the reason I gave it four stars instead of five. My family enjoyed the tour. We had a great time at the palace, Bukchon Hanok Village a wonderful lunch and a wonderful time in Inseadong, the Jogyesa Temple and Namsan tower.
Christopher G –
We really enjoyed our trip around Seoul. Our tour guide Brian was helpful and knowledgeable. Recommended.
Christopher K –
Fantastic tour to get to know Seoul and the important spots. Our guide Janet did an amazing job in showing us around.
Deborah P –
Brian Jeong was fantastic. We had to adjust our day because of protesting to impeach the President but he was flexible and listen to everything we still wanted to see. He took us to places I would never of thought of. I truly recommend and spending his name to all my friends who will be visiting Seoul
Elaine J –
Great day out visiting 5 different places in Seoul, Palace, market, historic village, shrine and tower. Our guide Travis was great taking things at a slower pace as one of our group has mobility issues. It was a full day but we’ll worth it to see so much of Seoul. Would certainly recommend this trip.
Thomas T –
The trip covered key highlights of Seoul in a very personal manner. Our guide Janet was fantastic and very flexible with the itinerary. She was very informative on the history as well as cultural aspects of South Korea. Her English was great and she was very easy to understand. But even more than that she was fun to be with!
Stephanie Q –
Sophia Kim was an outstanding tour guide. Her communication was excellent, she was prompt, very gracious, extremely knowledgeable about Korean history and culture. She spent the time to answer all our questions, took us to an authentic restaurant, walked the streets and helped us shop and visited a wonderful tea house. Also, she is an excellent driver! Seoul traffic requires astute navigation and she did it very well! Her personality is warm and gracious.

Brian our tour guide taught us interesting information about history, the country, and Korean culture. He was kind and ask our input on what was important for us to see.
Julie H –
This was a great tour! Brian was a very knowledgeable guide and we learned a lot about the history and culture of Korea. It was great to do this on our first day so we could explore on our own later. Would highly recommend!
Janet R –
Our driver Brian spoke excellent English and was very knowledgeable. We didn’t have any concerns and would recommend the trip and our guide.
Tamara B –
This by far was the best tour we have ever taken. Not just because of the tour content but because of our guide Sam. Sam is absolutely amazing. He’s fun, energetic, knowledgeable, entertaining, accommodating, attentive and just all around a great guide. If there is a guide handbook he should be the model for it. He puts his personal experiences into every site we visited and he knew the inns and outs of how to easily and quickly get around. Plus he loves pictures. We had more pictures taken of us than we have ever had. Plus he enabled us to be a little more free spirited with some of the picture taking events than what we would normally do. His personality is infectious and you’ll have an amazing experience. Lots of memories were made during this tour.
Megan C –
We had a 13 hour layover at Incheon Airport and decided we wanted to use that time to visit Seoul. Brian was our guide and he was fabulous- he accommodated our preference to walk around instead of drive the sights. He kept track of time and adjusted the itinerary to be sure we were back at the airport in time. Gyeongbokgung Palace and the changing of the guard, Bukchon Hanok Village, Insadong shopping area, Namsan Tower, and bulgogi lunch. Brian is knowledgeable, kind and easy going. We are so pleased with our experience- thank you!
Sarah H –
We had such a great day with our tour guide, Suni. We saw so many great sights around Seoul and Suni was such a joy to spend the day with. We ate lunch at a delicious local restaurant as well. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to see a lot of Seoul in one day.
Daniel G –
We are so happy we booked this tour!!! Travis was genuinely an amazing tour guide. We very much appreciated how much care and consideration he had for us. He was extremely knowledgeable about Korean history and Seoul. He continuously checked in to see if we needed anything at all and to see how he could make the experience better for us. He answered any and every question we had fully – an expert in so many areas!
drberant –
We had an amazing time from the start till the end . Brian was very knowledgeable, very attentive to what we want and very efficient. It was our first time to Seoul and we learned so much about history, life, and culture. Thank you so much Brian! You made our day!!!

We had an informative and fun day exploring the city with Don! He explained the history of the city while showing us around town.
Elliot R –
It was a wonderful day exploring Seoul with an amazing guide, Alfonso. We learned plenty about the history of the city, old and new!
Oriana C –
We had the best day with Brian touring around Seoul! He is warm and fun and so knowledgeable. We really came away with a great understanding and appreciation of the history of Korea and the Korean people. Brian took us to a typical Korean lunch plane where the food was wonderful. This was our first time using Viator and we highly recommend the app and Brian and the private day tour. It was well worth the time and money. And the app is super easy to use. Thank you Brian! You were wonderful!
David H –
My guide Brian Jeong was excellent. He texted me before he arrived and arrived on the dot. Based on the location of my hotel he suggested changes to the itinerary to avoid covering things I could do on my own. All changes were great ideas. His English is very good and he was informative about our sites. Highly recommended.
Anne P –
Great way to see beautiful Seoul in one day! We were able to see so much and our guide Brian was amazing! It was chilly and he brought hand warmers for us. We thought that was so nice and also helped a lot. We really enjoyed hearing about the history of Seoul and South Korea.

Brian was an excellent tour guide! He gave us great insight into both the history and culture of Seoul and South Korea. Also noted he was a very good driver. We ended up booking a second tour for the next day with him.
Brian W –
We had a whole day private city tour with Brian, taking in the Gyeongbokgung Palace with the guard charging ceremony, Bukchon Hanok village, lunch, Insaedong Street and the Namsun Tower. Brian met us at our hotel promptly and was immediately friendly and informative. The minivan was extremely comfortable. Throughout the day Brian was full of information, explaining everything and was more than happy to answer our questions about Korea and provide help with our stay in Seoul. Thoroughly recommended.
Micheline S –
Great tour. Sam, our guide was excellent. We had a wonderful time learning about the culture and history of South Korea.

Taylor was knowledgeable, friendly and helpful! Travelled with 12-year old son and the bonded so well it was hard to say good bye at the end!
Patricia N –
Our tour guide, Brian was exceptional in every way. His language skills were superb & he shared a tremendous amount of interesting facts about Korean history & current culture. We are older travelers and due to the cold weather we asked if he could alter the tour to keep us out of the frigid temps. He did amazing and when I thanked him for keeping us warm, his response was, “This is what I do.” He is a very humble man & an extroadinary tour guide. Ask for him by name if you want to tour Seoul. Thank you Brian for a fantastic day!
Katharine H –
Wonderful day exploring Seoul- an easy way to see all the highlights. Lovely tour guide. Great family experience.
JinSoo H –
This is a great way to see most of the tourist spots in one day! It’s a great, diverse experience. You get to see historic sites like the palace, enjoy a meal, see the artist village, see a great view of the city from Namsan Tower, and more! The pickup and drop off is really easy and convenient.
Emily G –
Our guide Billy was friendly, knowledgeable and willing to indulge us when the kids wanted to do some quick shopping. Great way to get a lay of the city and see population tourist attractions with a guide.
Larissa H –
This tour was perfect since we had very little time in SK. We visited main attractions, the Royal Palace was our favorite. Don, our tour guide, was helpful, patient and knowledgeable.
Jessica K –
Taylor made us feel so welcomed, was so patient with our group, and really provided a lot of excellent knowledge about the history of Seoul. His English was impeccable. He even offered us some restaurant recommendations at the end of the tour. We had a very good lunch along the way and hit a lot of spots, but were able to help set the pace along the way, which was a huge bonus for our group of friends. Would 100% take a tour with Taylor again.
Aileen S –
We had a great time with Brian. Viator never fails to provide the service we expect and much more. Thank you!
JITEN N –
Great communication prior to the tour.
Our guide, Alphonso, arrived promptly and asked us our preferences for the tour ahead.
He gave us lots of great suggestions to make the most of our day ahead.
He imparted a lot of local and historical knowledge to our party too.
Alphonso gave us a huge choice of lunch options.
Great tour with lots of wonderful experiences!
Nicole M –
Brian gave us a wonderful tour of Seoul. His English is excellent and he was flexible about the amount of time we wanted to spend at each site. He took us to a typical local restaurant for a great lunch – beef hot pot. He provided so much information and really knew all his numbers and statistics! The tour was both informative and fun. We highly recommend it.
Jeffrey P –
Outstanding. Our tour guide Don arrived early and whisked us off to the palace and despite major traffic jams, due to a marathon and road closures, got us there in time for the Changing of the Guard. Don was knowledgeable, friendly and a wonderful guide and driver. He made sure we saw everything we were supposed to and even more. It was a real complete introduction to Seoul and the South Korean lifestyle. Our lunch was delicious and more than satisfying- a great treat. And the walk through the market gave ua the opportunity to see and taste some Korean specialties. I give this tour – and especially Don – FIVE STARS!
Maria C –
On November 7th, we took a full-day tour in Seoul with Ms. Rossi as our guide.
Our group of 7 senior travelers cannot thank this excellent guide enough for her kindness and dedication. He accompanied us and provided detailed and appropriate information about all the places we visited and those mentioned in the itinerary.
In Seoul, we felt the pulse of the city, immersed ourselves in its traditions, culture, and breathtaking landscapes, and even enjoyed a typical Korean lunch!
We highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to explore the city, and if possible, with Ms. Rossi, as your experience will undoubtedly be unforgettable!
Edward S –
Brian was extremely knowledgeable about Korean history, politics and culture. He was also a very entertaining and interesting guide to spend the day with! We could not imagine a better way to learn about Korea on a first visit.
Porn L –
On the first day, Don brought us on the highlights of the Seoul tour that is listed in the itinerary: Gyeongbokgung Palace (with Hanbok rental) and Bukchon Hanok Village. From there we went to Insadong and Gwangjang Market stopping at a vista point of the city (not Seoul Tower, because one of our party was a bit older and found some of the stairs a bit difficult). Point is Don really was considerate of our limitations and made the best tour possible.
Day 2 was with Brian – no set itinerary so we started at Lotte Tower and ended up going to the DDP and Dongdaemun and Seoul city wall. Very good customization once Brian figured out what our likes were.
Maria D –
Although I was not able to join my group due to late arrival in Seoul, my friends and family did the tour with Brian. They have only good words about the tour. Brian was very knowledgeable; he was also helpful, and also the lunch was very good.
Caroline S –
We completely lucked out with our tour! 1). The typhoon/early morning rain magically cleared up to reveal an utterly beautiful clear day and, most importantly, 2). Janet was our tour guide. It was such a joy to explore Seoul with her!
She is warm, wonderful, and super knowledgeable and energetic—which helped us keep up our energy, especially as jet lag (from the US) started to hit mid-afternoon. She thoughtfully customized our itinerary based on places we’d already been to and the weather, taking us to a couple beautiful spots that weren’t even on our radar as first-time visitors to Seoul and SK. A highlight of our trip!
Holly L –
Prompt and friendly tour guide took us to the palace for the changing of the guard and knew Seoul very well. Excellent lunch and good tour pace.
virginia k –
Rossi was very patient and kind! It was a fun day with many activities. He was on time for pick up and spent the entire day with us!! Great day!!!
Jane Y –
We had Brian as our Tour guide and he was amazing! We hit all the sites we wanted to see and doing this in a private tour was worth it for the convenience and comfort.
Jeff B –
Brian was perfect for this personalized tour – he is very informed on the locations on the tour and the history. Lunch was traditional Korean in a sit down restaurant. Delicious. Brian was helpful to be able to enjoy the tower early in the tour when the crowds were down and was able to spend time at the palace to inform us of the functions and significance. He was patient and answered all of our questions and he was easy to understand. He also was able to take us to a popular street market shopping location and took us to a nice Hanbok wearing experience. This tour was a terrific way to spend the day and see some of Seoul’s notable locations. Definitely worth it
DANNY P –
Very pleasant and enjoyable tour. Brian is very experienced and professional and accommodating. He is also very patient in allowing the time to enjoy all the experiences. Brian is a 5 star and great tour guide. Very happy and glad to have Brian as our tour guide.
Jason K –
We had a great tour with Brian. We had three young boys with a lot of energy and Brian had everything planned out perfectly. We were able check off all the best parts of Seoul in one day! We had a blast!
shawn c –
Nicely paced tour alternating between 30-60 light walking with 5-10 minutes of driving in the car.
Our guide Adella couldn’t have been more sweet and informative. We loved her energy.
Eileen Z –
Janet was our guide. She was nice, friendly, knowledgeable, considerate and fun. We had a great day. She shared a lot of her knowledge about the Korean history and culture. Lunch was good as well. We enjoyed the day very much and would definitely recommend it. She even showed up secret spots and avoided crowds. She prepped us little fans and water as it was hot. Overall she was great! Highly recommend!
Josh J –
Suni was a great guide! We came during the peak holiday season where local and foreign tourists were in Seoul. Despite the challenges, Suni did a great job navigating us through the crowds and giving us a historical context to the places we visited.
The lunch allowed us an opportunity to eat like a local and experience the life in Seoul.
I highly recommend Suni as your next tour guide!
Cheryl B –
You can be assured of a great tour with Brian as your guide. He spoke English very well and was very informative. On his recommendation we went to the war museum which I highly recommend. He aims to please and you will have a wonderful day
Bethan –
A very interesting tour and a great way to learn about Seoul in one day. We enjoyed the traditional Korean lunch.
Melvin M –
This being our first time in Korea, we wanted it special. With this booking we got exactly that. Our private tour had an itinerary but was completely customizable. Jonathan was thoughtful, educated, and filled with knowledge. Being toured around in a van with AC was a beautiful thing too. Don’t waste time and book this if you want to conquer most Korea sites in a day.
Gemma K –
Brian was an excellent guide and took us to a couple of areas that were not part of the regular tour. He was very attentive to our needs and was very knowledgeable about the city and its history. I highly recommend him!
Kim E –
Our tour guide Brian was absolutely wonderful! We had such a great time and Brian is soooooo knowledgeable in the history of the palace, Korean history, and basically anything we asked him about history, he knew. He was very flexible with the sites we wanted to see and we all had such a wonderful day getting to know more about Korea’s rich history. Brian is absolutely, hands down, the best tour guide to have for the best experience. I hope you get him as a tour guide because he is amazing!
Abel S –
Great tour with Adella. Very informative and patient as she helped deal with a baby we had on the tour. Helped us enjoy everything while also doing her best to find ways for us to avoid the heat.
jc5680 –
Suni was an amazing guide who made sure we went to all of the places listed on this tour. She managed time very well and really new her history and described all places visited in detail. She was attentive to my needs in terms of water, food, and explaining every detail of places we went and were going to. She’s so kind and respectful. I highly recommend her as a guide as this tour was amazing!!
Samuel S –
We’d give Sam 10 stars if we could! It was an enjoyable and memorable experience. Sam is very knowledgeable and well prepared. The information he provided was easily understood. We made a new friend in Seoul!
tatiana i –
Wonderful Seoul esperience with Sam. One day private trip to discover culture, history, food, traditions of this beautiful city. Our guide Sam was very kind, showed us the most interesting things in just one day. Punctual and honest, Sam is the best companion for this adventure. Sorry it has been just one day!
We modified the trips on our desires and requests, and gave us also advises about restaurant and sites in general. We’ll never forget Sam and, if we will come back, we’ll spend another day trip with him!
Rosanne K –
A private tour is the best way to see the highlights of Seoul. Our guide, Brian, was excellent! He was extremely knowledgeable and personable and really tailored our tour to our interests. He added a trip to the War Museum which wasn’t on the itinerary and really expanded our knowledge about the Korean War (or The 6-25 War as it is known to them). We can’t recommend this tour highly enough!
Caitlin D –
Brain was a fantastic guide with OneDay Korea. We chose to see the war museum at the end. S it was very informative. Our kids loved dressing up in hanbok
Sitong C –
We strongly recommend this private trip. Our guide is Sam and he is very knowledgeable and professional and shows us many things in Korea.

What a beautiful country. We had a wonderful time, and Alfo 😉 was our tour guide. We appreciate the company, all the stories, and his concern about our kids (they were jet-lagged). He was very accommodating, and we had plenty of time at each site and never felt rushed. Lunch was delicious. I would definitely recommend it.
Dan D –

Brian was an awesome guide. Best tour we’ve had so far. You 100% need to take this tour for an efficient one day tour of Seoul.

Very wet Seoul day, Brian looked after us and adapted our tour to visit unique and interesting places undercover. He was very informative and knowledgeable and spoke perfect English.
carolynflee –
This is our first time in Seoul, and we are so glad we signed up for this tour with Janet! She took us to so many great spots-including Gyeongbukgung Palace, Bukchon village, Insadong, and Gwangjang market. We had a delicious lunch of bibimbap at a restaurant in Insadong that we never would have found ourselves. Janet is a terrific tour guide! She helped us navigate through the crowds to find the perfect places to take photos.
David T –
Taylor was a friendly and funny tour guide who took us around Seoul. We learned a lot of history and culture of Korea, would highly recommend.
Samar K –
FANTASTIC!!! Taylor was very nice, professional and courteous. He was very knowledgeable and made our outing very successful. Worth every penny. We loved it. A must repeat thank you so much Taylor😊❤️
beverly e –
Johathan was a wonderful guide. He was able to assess our family needs and wants in regards to information on our tour. He was able to accommodate my breaking my toe a day previous and tailor the tour to our pace. I would highly recommend Jonathon on full day tour of Seoul!
Daniel L –
The whole day was great, even though packed with objectives and lots of sights to see, our host Billy has kept our spirits up with his amazing personality, humor, friendliness and last but not least, an incredibly wide array of knowledge not only on Korean history, legends and its geo political position, but the world as a whole. Thanks again Billy, your companion and guidance were incredibly appreciated!
Susan E –
Enjoyed the tour. Only a slight concern in that the traffic from the Incheon port into Seoul was more than expected. Luckily the driver (who was getting concerned on timing as well) managed to get us to the changing of the guard ceremony right on time and went to part while we then went with our actual guide, Tommy. Tommy was able to accomodate a slightly older crowd and reduced the stairs while we still completed the planned itinerary to include giving us different places to stop and explore a bit on our own.
Vicky T –
This tour is fantastic. My family had so much fun. We learned so many new things about the places we visited. Our tour guy Brian is amazing. He is friendly, fun, knowledgeable, and flexible. It felt no different than travel with a friend of our. He made our trip more enjoyable. I will recommend this tour to my any of my friends..
Irene C –
Brian was our tour guide. He speaks fluent English, is a nice guy, very knowledgeable, punctual, and accommodating. It was our first time in Seoul and felt lucky that we got Brian as our guide. We were able to visit all the places listed in the itinerary and had delicious authentic Korean food for lunch. We are satisfied customers and this tour is highly recommended especially if you get Brian as your guide.
Wendy K –
Brian Jeong was hands down one of the best tour guides we have ever had, and we travel quite a bit. Our day in Seoul was punctuated with heavy rain, but Brian still managed to create a memorable experience. In the morning we started at Gyeongbokgung Palace, and Brian showed his encyclopedic knowledge of the palace and the Joseun Dynasty. Little details such as the palace heating system and the king’s mother-in-law quarters were described. We then proceeded to Hanok Village to see traditional Korean houses, and Brian took us to see the village vista from a hidden vantage point. We then went to Insadong to see traditional Korean handicrafts and art, and also had a delicious beef and rice stew in a hot stone pot for lunch. After lunch, we went to see the Jogyesa Buddhist Temple. Since it was cloudy with poor visibility, instead of taking us to Seoul Tower (where we wouldn’t have seen much), Brian took us to the Gangnam district in the part of Seoul south of the Han River, where we took great photos at the huge Starfield Library in the COEX Mall and the amazing statue of Gangnam style. Throughout the tour, Brian provided commentary not only on the sights we were seeing, but on the current Korean sociopolitical situation. He was fluent in English and was a very considerate tour guide who provided ample breaks. His van was immaculate and comfortable, and we felt safe with his driving. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed the tour and felt we got a great overview of Seoul in one day.
Linie S –
Jonathan was a good tour guide with much korean history knowledge in his belt. He explained very clearly on Korean history during the palace tour. Took us around for the remainder Seoul tour knowing exactly where are good spots for photos etc. Added an extra nearby place for us to explore too.
Robert G –
This was a great tour with our guide Billy. He was informative and we were able to understand his English. Seeing the changing of the guard was really cool, and the Hanok village too. The whole tour was a great way to get acquainted with Seoul and some of its highlights. Definitely recommend.
Thanhtruc n –
Billy was a great tour guy, he’s very attentive to us. Took us to see all of the places in our iteniary and more. Such a great person very nice man. He made our experiences very special. If it wasn’t raining it would be a perfect day, but the experiences were great. Thank you Billy
Anil R –

We had an excellent day with Johnathan! He was attentive to our requests, picked us up on time, and got us situated in the best location for the the changing of the guard at the palace. He was thoughtful and knowledgeable. We loved visiting the palace, the village, N tower, the market, and the temple. Excellent day that we would not have wanted to miss!

Virginia B –
As a college graduation gift, I took my nephew on a trip to Korea. I arranged for a private tour on our first full day in Seoul. Taylor picked us up in his car at our hotel in the morning and showed us the city. He was very nice and knowledgeable. He has personally traveled the world, so he was so interesting to talk with and his English was great. We started the day at Gyeongbokgung Palace and saw the changing of the guards, followed by a tour of the grounds filled with historical information. The day he planned was a nice mix of old and new sites in Seoul, ending with a cable car ride up to N Seoul Tower. We spent a few more days in Seoul on our own. Taylor was great answering our questions and making suggestions on other things to see and do in Seoul. After our first day, we felt completely comfortable exploring and found people very friendly and helpful.
Tania W –
excellent introduction to the historical and modern city of Seoul. Wonderful lunch in an authentic neighborhood restaurant. Korean cuisine is wonderful! Loved every moment of our tour!
Lam N –
Highly recommend this tour. Tommy was our guide and driver. He did a fantastic job throughout the day both driving us around Seoul and communicating relevant, interesting information at the various sites we visited. It was our first time in Seoul and we felt like we got a very good feeling for the variety of things available in Seoul including tings we went back to visit later more in-depth.
Chris J –

Benjamin S –
This was a wonderful introduction to Seoul. Brian, our guide, spoke perfect English, was very knowledgeable, and planned a great day for the five of us. The van was clean and safe. We were very pleased and highly recommend this tour.
Mark S –
Brian was a great ambassador for Seoul. He gave us some great history and made sure we saw the major sites. Since we had gone to the N Tower the day before, he pivoted from the planned itinerary and took us to a massive indoor market which was a highlight with countless food and other vendors. We would definitely recommend this tour.
Lauri V –
We had 24 hours in Seoul to see the highlights. Brian was a great guide and pivoted to our interests including local Korean art and the Korean War Memorial. The highlight was lunch in a hole-in-the-wall Korean restaurant. I would highly recommend this tour for first-timers to the city.
victoria b –
If you have limited time in Seoul, highly recommend this trip. Our guide Brian was full of knowledge, spoke superb English and tailored the day to suit us. He fitted so much into the day, knew exactly where to go for the best experiences and took great photos! We followed advertised itinerary with highlights being Changing of the guard at the palace, authentic Korean lunch, we had enough time in Insadong to make our own “stamps” and plenty of time at N Seoul tower to go up to the observatory deck and add a lovelock to the fence. A very full day!
Gloria P –
Our guide Jonathan was great knew a lot about the history & took us to places we wouldn’t have seen very patient & accommodating would recommend
ChihYu H –
Brian was great! Attentive, knowledgeable, fun to chat with, and knew where and how to take great photos 😀. We told him what we were less interested with, and he immediately suggested a few options, and changed one of the destinations for us.
We had great fun, learnt about Korean history and some modern Korean life style and culture.
Highly recommended.
Dolores S –
This tour was amazing! We had Taylor for our tour guide and he was the best guide we could’ve asked for. He was welcoming, friendly, knowledgable and very accomodating throughout the entire length of the tour. He was also a very good driver! I would definitely recommend this tour to others visiting Korea and would specifically request for Taylor. Such an amazing and educational tour :)
Savina H –
My mom and I really enjoyed the tour. I felt like this tour was my best day while staying in South Korea. It was also my last day to enjoy south korea before catching a flight back home the next day, so it was an amazing experience to have before leaving. Brian was a stupendous tour guide. It was like hanging out with a friend I havent seen in a long time. He made it so comforable to converse about anything. Made it easy to ask questions. Even when we weren’t asking questions, he would fill in the void with knowledge about South Korea whether it was facts about south korea or the attractions we were seeing. I would love to have Brian as a a tour guide again.
Tyra R –
We had a most memorable day in Seoul Korea thanks to a wonderful tour guide Brian. We are English speaking family and Brian a native Korean fit right in speaking perfect English. He was fun to be around, caring and knowledgeable. Thank you Brian at Viator!
Francis C –
We had an excellent tour as a big family of seven. Our tour guide was very accommodating to our needs and gave great explanations for the history of Korea. Would highly recommend.
Jared M –
Take this tour with Janet! We cannot recommend it enough. We have been all over the world, and I can’t remember ever getting to do so many things in one day. Janet took us through history at palaces and temples, immersed us in the neighborhoods of modern Korea and the food, took us to the top of North Seoul tower and through the famous shopping streets. Janet knew all the best spots and told us about the rich history of Korea. We had an amazing lunch, tried Korean coffee, and a pancake dessert she said her father used to give her. It would take me all day to write about all the things we got to do, so I’ll just say again, “Take this tour with Janet if you get the chance!”
Alejandro P –
Excellent experience a good introduction to Seoul. Brian our guide provided insightful information of the city and at the same time gave us space to wonder by ourselves. It would be a plus if there were more vegetarian options. Thank you so much for such a nice experience.

Don is such an excellent guide. He is on time and drives very safely. He speaks excellent English and I really appreciate his knowledge of Korean History. During the tour around Gyeongbokgung and Bukchon, Don was able to answer many of my questions regarding the history and culture of Korea. We went to the palace and dressed up in hanbok, walked around Bukchon, yummy lunch at Insadong. And ample time at Namsan Tower to enjoy the view. We really had such a good time. We highly recommended Don as a guide!
Sun K –
Unfortunately, it rained A LOT on our tour but Han still tried to make it special. We still went to several must see Seoul destinations including Changdeokgung Palace, Bukchon Hanok Village, Gwangjang Market (ate lunch at the famous noodle and donut stations), Starfield Coex Mall, Bongeunsa temple, and Nasmsangol Hanok village! Han was an amazing driver in the rain and managed to park close to all the destinations.

We got a chance to book a Seoul City Private Full-Day Tour including Lunch with Hon after reading many compliments about the tour guide named Hon, and I was glad that I made the right decision.
Hon is a energetic, humble and kind person. He has predominantly social individuals as he thrives in situation where he can interact with many local business people and leverage these relationships to maximize our benefits. For example, we were overdue to return hanbok costumes on time. Instead of paying extra hours, he managed to work with the shop for us not to pay any additional cost. Another good example about him is that he cares about his customers. When we were at Namdaemun market, we were looking for sugar cane drink but it was sold out at the popular place. Thus, he took us to several places until I could got my drink. Besides, he has solid knowledge of English language so we didn’t have any difficulties in communication with him. Overall, we were very happy with our trip and thankful to find Hon as our tour guide in Seoul. We will definitely look for him when we come back to Korea.

Our guide, Hun, was a young and knowledgeable guide who communicated well in English. He was a very responsible guide and he made sure our interests are being attended too.
Thank you, Hun, for making our private tour with you a memorable one!
Derek S –
We had 3 generations (grandparents to teenagers) of our family for a day trip in Seoul. The tour permitted a great intro to the city and its history. Brian, our guide, was excellent. He was articulate and insightful. He provided not only the historical context, but gave a glimpse into life of a local living in Seoul. He was accommodating of the needs of our group and went above and beyond the call of duty and even helped us find a spot for dinner and make sure we were settled in before leaving. This was a highlight in our trip.
Trien D –
We had a great time and learned a lot about Korean history. Taylor, our tour guide, was very patient, nice, and informative. He was very flexible and went above and beyond to make us happy.

We had a wonderful tour with our guide, Hun! He was very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. He did not rush us and took the tour on our own pace. During the tour, my glasses broke and Hun was able to find a repair shop nearby and was able to get it fixed on the spot! The level of service is 5 stars! Highly recommended and ask for Hun if you have the chance to do this tour!

We had an amazing day exploring Seoul thanks to our enthusiastic, helpful, patient, knowledgeable and fun tour guide, Hun! He took us around all the main tourist attractions such as Gyeongbokgung Palace, Bukchon Hanok Village, Insadong and Namsan Tower. If it weren’t for Hun, we would not have been able to experience the spirit of such a captivating and beautiful city. He was also nice enough to take us to enjoy a delicious lunch of Korean ginseng chicken soup! I highly recommend this Seoul City Private Day Tour.

Hun is a personable, super fun tour guide. We love his roomy van. He amazingly squeezed in 2 days worth on my Seoul list. We didn’t feel rushed and pleasantly surprised at how much he covered and also showed us his hidden local gems. You have to try the ginseng chicken soup place on the Michelin bib Hun recommended for lunch.. We even had time to eat at Gwangjang Market’s famous Auntie’s knife cut noodle (kalguksu) and mandu place documented on Netflix. He gave us a seamless, memorable experience.
Yvonne Y –
We are lucky to have Hun to be our tour guide. Caring. Patient. Smart. Helpful. Fun. Traveling with family (with 2 seniors) is not easy so decided to ask for the support of a tour guide. Hun texted me the night before and let me know he had water, umbrellas and chargers prepared. Due to the weather and the demand of the elderly, Hun would think about alternatives to cater our needs. When my mom asked for dried persimmons, he would help us search and call the store. He is friendly with the whole family and very fun to talk with. When we asked for advice, he would always share his thoughts and be cool about it. It’s like hanging out with a good and cool friend for a day, who is willing to go that extra mile to make things easy for you. Oh he is a very safe driver. Highly recommend Hun.
Jamie N –
Our guide, Brian, was extraordinarily effective. He was professional, knowledgeable, efficient and great fun to be with. We learned a great deal while enjoying ourselves, not to mention that his driving skills are awesome. Highly recommend.
Lachaunda B –
Great tour! Don was very knowledgeable on Korean history about the palace. We’ve learned so much from him. It was convenient, and we didn’t have to worry about finding each location. All places are a must see: the palace, museum, village, tower and market!
Johannes v –
Excellent tour with a fantastic tour guide Mary. She showed us awesome places and gave great insights on Korea.
Sisir A –
We had a great time exploring Seoul. Brian was our guide. He even taught us the Korean Hangul script in our short time in Seoul. It was also a great culturally immersive experience. We highly recommend the private tour option as it allows you to customize your day.
Aaron G –
We had a great time with Taylor. He was friendly and informative and very flexible.
Please note that the tour company provides 10,000 KRW per head for lunch which is usually not enough for a Korean meal unless eating veg (according to our guide). We ended up using the amount at Burger King where it was plenty enough.
Overall a great time.
Alejandro A –
Great tour guide! Hun our guide was exceptional and very knowledgeable! Loved it! Explored lots. Perfect!
Nadia D –
We enjoyed visiting the palace and the Village, great site seeing. Our driver was very , polite , flexible and accommodating to what we wanted to see and Visit.

Visiting the Gyeongbokgung Palace with the changing of the guard ceremony was very interesting. We also enjoyed walking through the Bukchon Hanok Village, Insadong and the Kwang Jang Market (substituted for the N Seoul Tower since we experienced it the night before)!
Also, our guide Brian did an excellent job explaining each location we visited as well as Korean history which was invaluable to our understanding of all things Korean!
Daniel R –
fantastic tour, perfect for an introduction of Seoul, our guide Han was just amazing, he made the whole day fun and interesting, i would definitely suggest you ask for him if you want to have a wonderful day.
also, the car was very comfortable, the lunch was delicious and the whole experience was superb.
10/10
Han the best of the best.

The market we went to was great. We had lunch there and our guide ordered for us which gave us a good mix of foods.
Sonia A –
The best tour guide showed us the soul of Seoul with his fun and friendly personality and warm welcome!
Sherry F –
Taylor did a wonderful job showing us the highlights of Seoul! His English was great and he was very knowledgeable! We both enjoyed the day immensely! .
Stephen B –
The places are all within walking distance of each other, it’s quicker to walk then drive…. the tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly. However for the price you are better of just walking, all signs are in English anyway.
Timothy Y –
Janet my wonderful guide for the day was punctual and as it was a private tour took the time to show me all the sights as advertised at a comfortable leisurely pace.
We finished on time and her vehicle was immaculately clean.
Highly recommend Janet snd this tour for a great snapshot of Seoul.
Michael L –
Taylor did a great job taking us around to both historic and local spots. We had already gone to one of the places he had planned so he quickly adapted to fit our needs. Great tour!
Jenny N –
Guide was well informed and an excellent all rounded tour. A bit of history, art, food and scenery…
Charlene R –
Taylor was a fantastic guide. Very knowledgeable and passionate about Korean history, and packed so much into our 8 hour tour. From an amazing lunch to very descriptive explanations of the sites and answering our many random questions, we had an amazing time. It was more than we expected and we will definitely try to book with him again when we visit for longer!
CHRISTOPHER M –
Our guide Helena was delightful! We were able to go at our pace and customize the day based on what we wanted to see. She was so sweet, helpful, and knowledgeable about Busan. Highly reccomend! :)
Jonathan M –
Very highly recommended, our tour guide “Brian” was absolutely excellent, very welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable he really made the whole day a highlight of our visit to Korea. The tour was very well thought out with the right amount of time spent in each location. Particularly impressive was the way that our interests were noted. When we spent less time at N-Tower than anticipated the guide took us to one of the local food markets because we had been asking food related questions! This was really appreciated and went above and beyond our expectations. Thank you to Brian and everyone involved in organizing such a fantastic day.

I was privileged to have the very first tour with Justin after Korea’s reopening on Oct 2 2022. He expertly guided our group and was very engaged with us and was able to go into detail on any aspect of Korean history and culture. My Wife is a historian and was very grateful for his depth of knowledge and willingness to go beyond the needs of a typical tourist to make sure she was able to really emerge herself and enjoy her visit. Justin, was great at navigating around Seoul to avoid traffic and get us in and out of the venues ahead of the typical rushes so we had more time to enjoy at each site we visited. On top of this top notch tour, he went out of his way and made himself available to answer our questions and help us find a hospital where we could get our exit neg-pcr test days after we had our tour. Justin is conscientious, and caring about his clients and sharing of his heritage.

We had a great one day private tour of Seoul with Justin yesterday. We went to see the Royal Guards Changing Ceremony, Gyeongbokgung Palace, Bukchon Hanok Village, Insadong, Jogyesa Buddhist Temple, Gwangjang Market and N Seoul Tower, which we would have been hard pressed to see on our own in a day. Justin made sure to take us to the best spots for photos, and gave us historical information as needed. He was happy to answer any questions that we had for him, and took us for a very tasty lunch. The schedule was sufficiently flexible that if we wanted to stay longer for some things and make others faster it wasn’t a problem.
AlbertoL362 –
I would say that having this trip with Mr Justin was the best decision, we enjoyed a lot this trip, he knows very well Korea and showed us the best places there.
greenie0213 –
Really enjoyed the tour in Korea. We were able to visit the best places. Will definitely come back again. Thanks to our tourist guide Justin and Brian for making our trip really organize. Will definitely recommend you both.

Had great time in Seoul with our tour guide Minho Kang. He was well informed and was very fluent in English. Car was nice, Minho arrived on time and gave us ample time to explore. I will highly recommend this tour.

Our family had a very nice tour of Seoul. Our tour guide, Justin Kim, was very informative and kept our children engaged. Would recommend using this company.
lissashoff –
We did a full day tour and had Justin as our guide. We did this on our first day in Seoul and it was a perfect way to get acquainted with the city and see some of the biggest tourist attractions. Justin was so great, he was very knowledgeable and gave us some great tips for the rest of our stay. He also served as our private photographer which was a nice bonus since it is just my husband and I we rarely have pictures of us other than selfies! Overall would highly recommend going with One Day Korea.

Yesterday, we were met at our hotel by our guide, Henry (sp) who provided us with a wonderful view of Seoul, it’s history, geography and culture. We saw the changing of the guard at the palace and then the history museum where our guide added in so much information. Then we went to Butchon Hanok Village which is so quaint. We went to Insa-dong for some shopping and a terrific mackerel lunch with traditional Korean sides. It was delicious and the best meal we’ve enjoyed yet in Seoul. We shopped a bit then in Insa-dong. We walked over to Jogyesa Temple and were fascinated by the active Buddhist community. The lotus flowers all over were lovely. Our guide had so much information to add which really enhanced every stop of the day. We got back in the car and saw some vantage points of spectacular views of Seoul. We drove by the blue house, drove over to Seoul Tower and walked around. We completed our tour walking around Namdaemun Market which was huge and so amazing to see. We were then taken back to our hotel. My husband and I would recommend this tour as a wonderful way to see Seoul and learn about its history and current culture. Thank you so much to our guide. It was a fascinating day!

Our trip was both amazing and fun. We enjoyed our trip because our tour guide was incredible! He was professional, easy to communicate with and was always on time on picking us up from the hotel which is a big deal for us. He has a vast amount of knowledge about ANYTHING we asked, frequently smiles and patient to our requests. It even rained on our last destination but he was prepared with umbrellas.

Min ho brought alive the history of the Royal Palace with his explanations of the life of the queen and the concubines. He was courteous and considerate at all times and very flexible about our itinerary. An excellent guide.

Seoul is a beautiful, historic and dynamic city. Our van was very comfortable and we were able to cover much more than if we tried on our own. Justin, our tour guide was very knowledgeable, friendly and good with the kids. As an added bonus he forwarded digital pictures of the memorable moments we had in Seoul.
DianaMathew –
I had very little time on my hands to explore Seoul and Jay my tour guide made sure a city tour became one of my most memorable tours. He explained the history in much detail, was extremely thoughtful about what we may need. I can’t think of anything that could have been done better. It was an AWESOME day and I left Seoul having very fond memories of the place and people thanks to the wonderful tour.
Bernard_0575 –
Justin Sangsik Kim did an amazing job in touring us around the city. He was very corteous, kind and knowledgable of the history of the places we have visited. He was able to explain the korean war very well. Easy to understand his thoughts and explanations especially about the war when we visited the memorial. He served as our driver, guide and photographer. His shots are awesome and was able to capture our memorable tour of the city. I highly recommend hiring their services and will definitely get their services when we come back to Korea.

Perfect way to see all you need to see in Seoul – the old & the new, the history & culture, the people, food & architecture – in one day. Jay Im, with his clear English & very pleasant demeanour, was an exceptional guide for our family of 6 (ranging from 11 to 81 years old). Highly recommended.
Paticia G –
What a fantastic day in Seoul! Minho, our tour guide, gave us such a rich history of each place on our trip! I have knee problems and Minho made sure we fully got to see all of our tour but also designed our walking route to accommodate me. The changing of the guard was spectacular! This is a fantastic way to really see Seoul and learn about its rich history! I recommend it & Minho was the best tour guide!!!
Tony P –
Brian, our guide, was the best! We experienced Seoul through him. He had a good grasp of the history and significance of all the places we visited.
GioDC2019 –
One Day Korea and most especially our tour guide Justin gave us the best one day Old and New Seoul City Tour today. Pick up was on time, vehicle was top notch and clean, tons of valuable information shared (Justin is very knowleadgeable) and assistance was superb. Good quality photos were also shared for souvenirs. Communication was seamless. This is the kind of tour experience you would want.

Our tour guide (Justin) gave us an amazing and memorable experience in Seoul. He spoke perfect English, was very knowledgeable about every site, and even emailed us family pictures he took of us.

We did a one day tour of South Korea with OneDayKorea Tours & Travel and our tour guide was Justin Kim. He was very proactive in making sure that we had everything that we needed and he helped us take a lot of photos. The tour was great and he was very knowledgeable. He went above and beyond.

We did a full day private tour with Jay and it was amazing! Everything was smooth and easy to arrange, and Jay was super friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. We definitely recommend this service!!
Chery P –
The City tour was great. I was with a toddler and city tour is quite not a good idea, but with help of the tour guide we were able to manage. Kudos to them.
Daphne C –
My family and I booked the Gyeongbokgung Palace and Gangnam tour, and our guide Jay Im exceeded our expectations. He’s extremely knowledgeable about Korea’s history, hot spots, and hidden gems for photograph opportunities, and very pleasant to converse with. Jay is punctual and oriented to the tour schedule, but places the client’s leisure as his top priority and directs the tour at the client’s discretion, allowing ample time for both an educational experience and personal leisure. He is also a very good photographer! 11/10 experience, and recommend this travel agency to all tourists, especially first timers visiting Korea. Be sure to ask for Jay if you book!

We took 3 tours with One Day Korea during our trip to South Korea. We traveled with our our elderly parents are 85 and 90 (need wheelchair for long distance walking) during our recent travel to Seoul. Although not every activity/stop was wheelchair accessible, our tour guides helped us navigate the day so that we got the best out of it for all of us! Our first tour was to DMZ with Justin. He was so outstanding that when we got home, we immediately booked another tour for the following day. Our next tour was to Suwon Hwaseoung Fortress and Korea Folk Village with Eric. Eric not only was knowledgeable about the history but also helped us navigate the day so that we got the most out of our tour without any wasted time. Again, another fanastic guide! Our third tour was with Justin again for Seoul City Full Day Private Tour. Justin was so caring in taking extra care of our father and helping us navigate his wheelchair — he made our tour so enjoyable! He also gave us extra stop at Gwangjang Market! He told us where to stand to get the best views for the changing of the guards at the Palace and showed us streets in Bukchon village which we never would have found without him! Justin also took pictures of our family throughout the day with his phone camera and promised to send us those pictures! There are so many instances where having Justin made our tour so much easier and efficient! Food also was delicious! AMAZING — HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Thank you, OneDayKorea for an excellent 1-day “Old and New Seoul” tour. Our tour guide Justin Kim was incredibly kind and flexible. He drove and parked safely, and the car was nice and clean. Justin arrived on time and was pleasant and happy to show us all around Seoul. Justin was also extremely knowledgeable about Korean history as well as the modern city, and took many lovely photos of our family throughout the day. We will cherish these memories forever! Our family would use this company again and though we are Korean, we learned much more about our country and enjoyed seeing the sights in such an efficient yet pleasurable and personalized way. Thank you, again, Justin; you were the best!

We had the most satisfying 1 day tour in Korea with this team. Our tour guide, Brian, was well versed with the English language and his knowledge on Korea history is spot-on. Despite the weather being unpredictable, our tour guide was quick in adjusting our trips to make the most out of the day. Lastly, we never felt rushed. Brian was really eager to show South Korea to us. It is unfortunate that we only had a short stay here. But I will definitely book this tour again with my future family. 🙂
Rachel B –
The trip to South Korea was very special to our family as it was my little sister’s dream. We were nervous about how the experience would be as we came from the other side of the world and had little knowledge of the language however our tour guy Brian was excellent. He was very nice, organized, well-informed, always on time, willing to help us and to answer all of our questions. He also let us enjoy as we never felt rushed. We got to visit a lot of places as we booked two days and it was a very enjoyable experience. I would totally recommend booking tours with One Day Korea, worth every penny.

Tahira –
Hello, I am Tahira from Malaysia. I came with my family of 3 and 1 kid. I took one day city tour at Seoul from One Day Korea agency and Jay was our designated tour guide for the day. What can I say about him?! We were all very happyyy to get him as our tour guide! He is able to speak english well (most important thing for us as we had quite a tough time communicating with the people in Korea due to language barrier). He was so friendly and helpful. He even took care of my 5 years old nephew during our tour (and my nephew was so attached to him due to his friendliness). He even took our picture using his own camera which was very beautiful as well, of course for free! (he sent it to us through email). Im glad Jay was a part of my memory in my Korea trip and he made our tour very much fun and hence reflected in the agency (One Day Korea) that I booked. Im glad I made the right choice! Tq Jay!

We can’t thank One Day Korea enough for making our visit to South Korea one to remember. We are now living in the U.K. but we lived in Singapore for 24 years so we have visited most Asian countries- but never South Korea, so we really wanted to discover the culture & history of this wonderful country. We arranged 5 tours the DMZ, Seoul Old & New, Gyeongju, Busan and Seoraksan National Park. Throughout the planning process Yan was very helpful and responded to emails promptly with useful suggestions. What made our experience of South Korea so amazing were our two guides Brian in Seoul and Yunmi in Busan. Within a few minutes of meeting them we were like old friends and they both went out of their way to ensure that we had the best experience possible. They have us an insight into life in South Korea in a way one has when being shown around a country by friends rather than on an organised tour. Both Brian & Yunmi were excellent, knowledgeable guides and One Day Korea are very lucky to have them on their team. If you are going to South Korea – which defiantly should, especially in the Autumn as the colours were remarkable – then One Day Korea will ensure that you have a wonderful experience.
Hasmaniza J –
We visited Seoul early Nov. The weather was nice, not too cold. We stayed in Myeong-dong area, just a few steps from the metro station, street food and shopping zone.
Climber473882 –
Had an excellent 8 days with Justin in this custom made tour of South Korea: Seoul, Andong, Gyeongju and Busan. Everything worked as planed, the tour was a wonderful combination of modern and traditional Korea; every day was full of new and attractive things (places, people, food, traditions…). We loved every minute spent in this beautiful country. Justin was our guide and driver for the whole trip. He is a very knowledgeable guide and thanks to him we could understand better the Korean history and culture. He also speaks a very good English. Thanks, Justin!
Would definitely use OneDay Korea again 🙂 and also recommend it for everyone who wants to discover South Korea.

I would recommend this tour to anyone wanting get a clear understanding of the history and culture with easy and comfort.

We are an Indian family of three which included myself, my father and my mother. We travelled from India and our dates were from 31st July to 6th August. Writing this review in advance because of how much we enjoued. The weatherwas a tad bit hot, due to this we struggled to fullfill our full itinerary however that did not cause any trouble to us.

Our family had an excellent full day private Seoul city tour with Justin! We were only in Seoul for a couple days, and this tour was a perfect way to see the city. Justin was a very friendly and knowledgeable guide. He always made sure everyone was enjoying the tour and even served as our photographer, taking and sending us many beautiful photos!! Justin was great at keeping us on schedule and making sure we got to see everything. With Justin’s help we also got to rent hanboks to wear while touring Gyeongbokgung palace. I would highly recommend this tour with Justin and One Day Korea!

To save you some reading let me start by saying that if you want to explore Seoul in one day…this is the tour you need. Old and new, culture, food and plenty of smaller WOW moments.

I must say firstly, Yan is the key factor whom made me decided to go with OK. Her responds was impressed and messages was clear and easy to understand. I started engaged another tour Agency named One Stop Travel (OST) disappointed me due to very slow respond.

We had only a couple of days to visit Seoul and are so glad we chose One Day Korea for our all-day tour there. First of all, communication with this company was excellent before we arrived in Seoul, and all our emailed questions were answered promptly and carefully.
The day of our tour, our guide Brian arrived right on time and was friendly, helpful, and open to our requests throughout. We toured the Gyeongbokgung Palace and witnessed the colorful changing of the guard, which is not be missed. We also saw the Blue House and then wandered through the traditional Bukchon Hanock Village. Be aware there is a little bit of walking involved here with a bit of going up and down hilly streets.
Next was a fun lunch where Brian helped us to order a variety of delicious Korean dishes. We decided to forgo a visit to the temple in order to stroll along the Cheonggyecheon Creek. Then our final stop was a visit to the Seoul Tower to see the view.
Throughout all our touring, Brian took pictures of our group, which he then made available to us online. That took the pressure off us, and we could just enjoy looking although, of course, we took our own pictures as well. It was so convenient having our own van and a great guide just for us. This was an excellent value at $75 per person. Highly recommend! Thanks, Brian!

I highly recommend you taking the Private Full Day Tour with One Day Korea! Our tour guides Brian and Jay were absolutely amazing. We had a short visit to Seoul (3 days) but Brian and Jay were able to give us suggestions so we were able to maximize our day. We toured Gyeongbokgung Palace and saw the changing of the guards. Got to see The Blue House (Korea’s “White House”), Bukchon Hanok Village, and Namsan Seoul Tower. We also got to wear traditional Hanbok dresses. We also got to try some Korean street food called Beondegi. What an amazing experience! Thank you Brian & Jay for making our trip to Seoul one we will never forget!!

It was our family’s first time in Korea. We enjoyed this tour very much because of the different places we visited. Thanks to our tour guide, Justin who was efficient and on time. He took us through Korean history and culture. He accommodated our request and was able to show us where we can get good Korean BBQ for lunch. He also was gracious by taking our photos and sending them over immediately that night. A bonus was the hand warmers he provided because it was really cold that day. Thanks also to Yan for her quick response to my inquiries. I highly recomment One Day Korea particularly for first timers in Korea.

We booked this tour as a family of four. Brian, the tour guide, was at the hotel early to pick us up and from there we went to Gyeongbokgung, where our city tour started. It was a great day – albeit the coldest so far that week – and walking around was a bit of a struggle only because of the frigid weather. The tour guide was very considerate and friendly, he was very informative about the sites we went to and in-between.
MARGIE R –
We flew in to Seoul very early in the morning and decided to head straight to a tour that we booked with One Day Korea. Our tour guide, Smith, provided excellent service as he was on time, very cordial and always prioritizes our preferences.

My father and I visited Korea for two weeks in late-November 2017. Seoul was our home base, but we wanted to get out of the city a bit as well–One Day Korea tours were the solution! We took the Seoul: Old and New tour (plus N-Tower), the East Coast Tour, and the Seorak Mountain tour (plus Naksan Temple). All three tours were outstanding! Our guides spoke English very well and were punctual, friendly, knowledgeable, and went well above and beyond the call of duty to help my dad and I enjoy our trip.

It has been a wonderful experience touring with One Day Korea. Mr. Justin our guide has been very helpful, friendly, attentive, caring and cheerful throughout our tour. We booked a private tour ( family of 4) with One Day Korea to the strawberry farm, the Gyeongbokung Palace and the cultural gem the Royal Guatd Changing ceremony performed at the Gwanghwamun Gate. Our tour guide was Brian Jeong and he is a wonderful guide . Highly recommend Brian. Very punctual to meet us at the hotel . Brian has a very pleasant deposition , friendly ,helpful and responsible . He speaks English very well and we enjoyed his company. As it snowed the night before and the roads were slippery, Brian drove carefully and we appreciated this. The strawberries at the farm were simply delicious fresh and organic ! Brian brought us to a traditional place for a scrumptious bulgogi lunch -one of the best we had . We had an interesting tour of the Gyeongbokung Palace. Brian provided us the right level of historical information and took good photos for us. Watching the Royal Guard changing ceremony was also great experience.

It’s my 2nd time in Seoul and a 1st for my companions.
The day was a WONDERFUL DAY! Justin had common things with my companions (mother and her 2 friends) and he happily told us important info of the places we visited. He’s also a good tour photographer! He knows the good spots for scenic shots and always makes sure we’re okay.
This will not be the last time I will visit Seoul for sure, and next time I will make sure to book another tour with One Day Korea and hopefully with Justin again as tour guide.

I recommend this one day tour. Justin, the guide, was very polite and he gave us lot of background information about Seoul and Korea. Everything went smoothly, we visited all the most important places in Seoul according to the itinerary. We enjoyed lunch in nice restaurant with traditional korean dishes. Also the view from the top of Seul Tower is unforgettable. We would never see all this things in such a short time when trying to do this by ourselves. The car was comfortable van suitable for even 8 persons and Justin was very good in driving through high traffic.

We booked a two day tour in Jeju and 2 day tour in Seoul and Gapyeong. I highly recommend to get a tour in Jeju so you can see more in less time. Jeju is beautiful a must see. Then we headed to Seoul, first day, is Gapyeong, both Nami Island and the Garden of the Morning Calm is breathtaking. It will be forever imprinted in our souls. Seoul Trip is also memorable. Min (Jeju) Justin (Gapyeong) Brian (Seoul) our tour guide made it more special. Thank you guys. Thumbs Up!
Eugene S –
Both the tours in Jeju and Seoul are very nice! The transportation was very comfortable. The tourguiders were friendly, approachable, informative, and patient to us. The food they recommend was very delicious. The tour itself was well organized and was very beautiful. I would really recomment this to my friends.

Justin was amazing! We had already visited the Seoul tower and he was willing to change the itinerary to visit a Buddhist Temple instead of the tower while there was a flower festival going on. He exceeded expectations on the DMZ tour and took many great photos of our group. We would have never found the great Korean BBQ place he took us to on our own. After the tour was over he treated us to an ice shop the featured a Korean ice cream delicacy that we had never tried. All in all this tour was amazing and would suggest it to anyone wanting to go. He is a must request tour guide anytime you are in Seoul.

We really enjoyed our tour with Smith today. We went to the Gyeongbokgung palace, saw the blue house from afar, Bukchon Hanok Village, Insadong for lunch with a little shopping, Jongyesa Temple, & last but not least N Seoul Tower. Smith was very knowledgeable about each place & was able to answer all my husband’s question (which is pretty impressive esp since my husband is a history enthusiast). Since we were ahead on time on our tour we got a chance to see a martial arts performance at N Seoul Tower that was a plus to an already great day.
Janice Schneider –
My friend and I had a great tour with Smith yesterday! He was super friendly, great personality, and provided really interesting info about each of the places we visited. He took us to a little restaurant with delicious Bibimbab for lunch. The palace and temple were beautiful and we really enjoyed shopping in Insadong. Great way to get a taste of Seoul if you have only one day to explore, like we did.
Rhez S –
Booked a private one-day tour. Justin, my guide, did an amazing job taking me through Gyeongbokgung Palace, Land of Morning Calm, Banpodaegyo Bridge, Gwangjang Market, and more. Great experience trying sundae (blood sausage) and buying a hanbok for myself and my niece! Highly recommend if you want to learn about the history, yummy cuisine, and unique cultural heritage of S. Korea.

This is my second time to Seoul but the first time for my husband and the rest of our group. This tour is the complete one. all tourist spot were beautifully preserved. Seoul looks more interesting in this tour. and Smith the tour guide, he is the best. very polite but friendly. give us the information we need but not talkactive so we still have our moment.
next time i come to Seoul i will book this tour again and even more.

I had to request for a change of date for our tour cos we encountered a problem with our flight. The person from One Day Korea accommodated my request without any charges in which I truly appreciated. Our driver tour guide Smith is also very nice, He is so accommodating to our requests and needs. I would recommend him to others. He speaks funny in English that is entertaining for us. He made our day truly amazing, Thank you One day Korea.

We liked how your agency customised our tour to fit our limited schedule. We enjoyed our tour very much with Brian Jeong. He was very friendly and accommodating. The next time we visit Korea, we will definitely get in touch with him again. Not only did he make our 1st Korean trip memorable, we also gained a new friend.

i contacted one day Korea while i was in my home country, their response was great, i reserved two trips old and new seoul and day on nami island, the tour guide(Justin, brian) met us on time and flooded us with information, the timing of the tour was great, the language of the tour guides was very good, they took us to great places under our own pace with no rush in time whenever we wanted to spent more time.
Emma –
The website was so easy to use and the operator was so efficient. We had bad weather but good experience with our guide. He explained everything in detailed. I highly recommend this tour.

Justin, our tour guide, picked us up from our hotel at Myeongdong. He is a very nice guy, speak English, and knowledgeable about the history of Korea. We visited National Palace Museum of Korea, Bukchon Village, Changdokkung Palace, Jogyesa Temple, Seoul Tower Plaza, and one of the traditional wet market in South Korea which I forgot the name of the place. We enjoyed the lunch at Insadong and also we bought some souvenirs there. Justin was a great tour guide and we learned more about Korea from him. Highly recommended tour!

The One Day Korea tour started out well with our guide Justin arriving very promptly and with a friendly smile. Justin was a very kind man and fabulous tour guide with a great command of English and extensive knowledge about the sights. His friendliness and good humour lasted all day long. Make sure you request him for your bookings in Korea. The tour itself lasted all day long and covered all of the main areas in Seoul.

It is our first time in Seoul and we couldn’t have had a better tour to show us the city! Our tour guide Justin was very friendly and informative, giving us a guide of Korean traditions and history throughout the day as well as teaching us how to use chopsticks! Would definitely recommend

It was a fantastic tour Mr.Justin was really friendly and I learned a lot about the history of South Korea from him. I really recommend this tour to anyone who’s visiting Seoul for a short time

Wonderful experience! Justin is a very knowledgeable and helpful guide. He knows the hidden restaurant and history of Seoul.
We chose a royal Korean lunch in a traditional Korean house, the meal contained several courses and it was so delicious! This was a lot of fun. Love it!

We did one day old and new city tour in the last week of May. Our tour guide was so knowledgeable for the hidden gem areas and flexible to accommodate our interests and schedule. We was able to see most of great places in Seoul City between 9:30 am and 5:30 pm. We went to 경복 palace, 광화문 앞 street, blue house, 북촌 old style traditional village, 청계천 river, namsan tower, 명동….. almost 7-8 places. You may try to this journal. We enjoyed every seconds of the tours- weather, location, culture, people we met. Wish to have more time so that we were able to stay more time in each location. We loved the experiences. Thanks, Euna,

We had a fantastic full day tour of Seoul with Justin. He picked us up at the hotel promptly and we proceeded to tour around the city in a comfortable van. We visited Gyeongbokgung Palace and saw the changing of the guard at 10AM. Justin did a great job of telling us about the key points of Korea’s history. We then visited the Bukchon Hanok village and had some scenic views of the area. During our tour Justin took lots of pictures on his camera and promptly e-mailed them to us in the evening. He also took us to a local Korean restaurant for lunch which was relatively cheap and delicious. Justin made sure we were comfortable in ordering our food and drinks by recommending and explaining items to us. To wrap up the tour we went to see a Bhuddist temple followed by some amazing views the N Seoul Tower. Overall a great tour that I would highly recommend for anyone visiting Seoul.

We had a wonderful time in Seoul even if it was such a short visit. Benny, our tour guide during our private tour was very welcoming and made sure that we see the places that we wanted to see and enjoy ourselves as well. He made us feel comfortable and he treated us not just guests, but more like family, which made our very first visit to Seoul a memorable one. He also took really good pictures with all the wonderful sites all over Seoul that made this tour worthwhile. My special thanks to Dave who was so quick to return my calls even during odd hours (because of the time difference) and Benny who was so nice to us all throughout the tour. I’ve been very impressed with their excellent service. I highly recommend Onedaykorea!
Louise R –
We only had one day in Seoul on our way thru to ski in Japan so the one day tour was perfect. Benny was our tour guide and he was excellent. Great English, very knowledgable and helpful. He was happy to change around the itinerary a bit to suit some other things we wanted to see. All in all a great day with lots of walking and sight seeing.
Roy26 –
We had Yong Woo. He speaks English extremely well. He is enthusiastic, very knowledgeable, and a wonderful tour guide. Our tour really let us understand Seoul. Highly recommend him and this tour.

One Day Korea – Day Tours did not disappoint me. Prior to planning of itinerary, Yan Wong has been very spontaneous in his reply and provide advise on the possible plan. Confirmation is followed by email and watsapp. It was easy to keep in touch and provide information on my arrival.

My 7 year old and I did a one-day tour of Seoul to hit some of the spots on our wish list – Gyeongbokgung Palace, Buckchon Hanok Village, lunch at the Moomin Cafe and shopping at Ssamji-gil in Insadong. Smith, our guide, did a great job of providing just the right amount of information and kept my son’s interest through the day. He was a great driver too, and the vehicle was clean and comfortable. I would definitely use them again the next time we visit Seoul!
Delia P –
We did a 2-day private tour with guide Benny and we had a great time! The ‘Seoul old and new city tour’ was excellent in providing a quick all-rounded experience of Seoul. We also did the COEX/Samsung D’Light tour that OneDaySeoul customized for us at the last minute. The comfortable vehicle also kept us well protected from the winter cold. Thumbs up to excellent service by Benny who had been so patient with the kids, and Yan who provided itinerary advices!

Had a great private tour (for 2) with a very knowledgeable guide, Henry. We were picked up at our hotel at 9am sharp and took us to historical sites, and some local hot spots. At the end of the tour, Henry dropped us off at a destination convenient for us. Very accommodating!
Gerald T –
My wife and I had a fantastic day with our guide Smith Chong. He was knowledgeable about the places that we visited, and planned the itinerary so that we would avoid crowds. He was also very thoughtful, and had made plans in advance at the lunch restaurant for us to sit at a non-grill area after we had mentioned in passing our preference. The tour and our guide are both highly recommended.

I had a very limited time for traveling in Korea so i had only a day to look around the city. At the very last minute, only 2 days before my available tour day, i looked online for the best one day tour agent in Seoul. I found this agent, One Day Korea, made a booking very easily they even let me pay everything on the day because i couldnt use my credit card for the down payment.

We found One Day Korea on goolge search. We booked 3 one-day private tour with One Day Korea. We are very satisfied with their service. They offer a wide range of tours from half day to a couple of days. The booking process is easy and deposit payment method by PayPal is convenient for us. The agent communicated well by email before our tour. We even changed our tour destinations while we were in Seoul, and they were very flexible to accommodate our needs. We have Terry as our tour guide for those 3 tours. He spoke great English and explained things well. He is very friendly and very considerate. We are very lucky to have him as our tour guide. We highly recommend One Day Korea for your tour arrangement in South Korea.

We had a wonderful time and experience touring Seoul with Jonathan. He showed us so many places and had interesting things to say about everywhere we went. He was a great tour guide. He also recommended a great restaurant for lunch in Jongno-gu. We had a royal feast that was delicious. He was very prompt in picking us up at our hotel and waited for us at the end of the day when we went to a performance at a theater in Myeongdong to take us back to our hotel. It was a long day for him, but he was more than willing to wait for us which we really appreciated. Jonathan kept us moving (but at a comfortable pace) so that we could visit the places we really wanted to see. He took some great pictures of us at the different sites we saw which we really appreciated and will be a part of our scrapbook of our trip to Seoul. He truly made our first trip to Seoul a fun, interesting, and memorable one. We would recommend asking for Jonathan if you are planning to visit Seoul!~

The “One day Korea” team was very accommodating with our last minute booking. Brian-our guide was very friendly and well informed about the history of Seoul. It was a very flexible schedule and Brian even went out of his way to help us find a place we were trying really hard to find. We enjoyed our tour and hope to do another “One day Korea” tour on our next visit as well.

Great service from booking to the tour. Great contact from the Agent when booking put togeather a great day tour for us. The tour guide was great couldn’t help us enough, accommodated us in every way he could. Traveling with 2 adults and young girls 9, 7 & 4 isn’t easy but the guide helped us out greatly the girls enjoyed there meals and everything the saw. Thanks for a great day in Seoul.

I decided to book a tour because it was my very first time coming to Korea and as I didn’t have much time to spend there it was more convenient I think. I wanted to learn more about Seoul city but as I travel alone it was not always that easy. That’s why I choose to have a private tour. And I was really happy about that because I have spent a really good journey.
My guide took me at the hotel at 9h and he was really prompt. He was also kind so I felt at ease.
First we headed up to Changdeokgung palace which is a gorgeous place. As it was spring, the colors of the palace and the garden were amazing. I also manage to discover many things about Korea’s history. This beautiful architecture just left me an impressive memory.
After that, my guide took me to Bukcheon village where I enjoyed traditional Korean’s houses called “hanok”. It was really pretty and we had a walk in cute little streets. What I appreciate the most is that it was not a reproduction but real houses where people live actually.
After this stroll, we pass by the blue house where the security was incredible, with post guard and police officer everywhere.
Then we had a meal and I discovered the “full-course Korean meal”. Maybe I ate a way too much but it was absolutely delicious.
On the afternoon, we went to Jogyesa Temple, they were preparing for Buddha’s birthday at that time so there were lanterns everywhere it was beautiful.
My guide asked me if I would like to go to a play even if it wasn’t in the tour I was so happy to see such a performance; singers, dancers and musicians were really talented.
Finally, we went to Namsan tower and I admire Seoul from the top of it. It was a fantastic view with the sunset I will never forget it.
I really want to thanks OnedayKorea for this journey I enjoyed every part of the tour thank you very much.

Our tour guide was Jonathan. He did such a great job giving us detailed history and showing us the rich culture of Korea. My family would do the tour all over again if they had the chance. They can’t stop talking about it and this is the first trip I’ve planned and it went just as I planned with OneDayKorea. Jonathan even had 2 cakes ready for my sister birthday lunch. I highly recommend this tour to everyone that goes to Korea. Thank you Jonathan and OneDayKorea for an experience my family and I will never forget.

Best Place Visited on the Seoul Tour: Gyeongbok palace, Bluehouse, Bukcon hanok village, Namsan tower. The lunch (Korean royal cuisine) was excellent, thank you very much and we will use your company in future.

I booked three tours with One Day Korea – a Seoul City Tour, Busan Tour and Suwon Fortress Tour. The services of One Day Korea are excellent, there was not much problem in communicating and booking the tour. I had three tour guides, Windy, Duke and Terry. All of them are very friendly, helpful and patient, especially Terry who brought us to the Fortress and explained very well the sites to us. I highly recommend them for tours in Korea. Thank you all for a very enjoyable trip.

OneDayKorea made our Korea Trip very enjoyable. They are very flexible with the planned itinerary if we want to make some changes to the places we want to go to. They also bring us to authentic Korean food which is great with very affordable prices. They make sure that they deliver great services (Thanks to Terry for making sure that everyday is a great tour) and they take good pictures too! They know the perfect spots for nice pics! We greatly appreciate their recommendations and for telling us what is worth it or not.
