Jeju Island
Jeju Island is Korea’s most southern region and is a volcanic island with a quite unique landscape. Situated on the southwest of South Jeolla Province, it is now Korean’s favorite honeymoon and holiday destination as the island provides a peaceful atmosphere far from the bustling city of Seoul as well as very picturesque sceneries. In Jeju Island visitors can find various natural World Heritage Sites such as Hallasan Mountain, Seongsan Ilchulbong (Sunrise Peak) and Lava Tubes, waterfalls, unique rock formations and beautiful beaches with clear turquoise waters where one can try various marine activities.

Yongduam Rock
Let’s visit Yongduam, which is also called the Dragon Head Rock! Strong winds and waves shaped Yongduam thousands of years. The coastal road between Aewol-eup and Yongduam is a popular spot for visitors, as you can watch the emerald-blue ocean and black rocks while driving along the scenic coastal lines.

Mysterious Road
Wondering why the Mysterious Road became a popular attraction?
It is just a road connecting two major highways on Jeju Island but it is a very interesting optical illusion to experiment while visiting Jeju.

Hello Kitty Island
Hello Kitty Island is an exhibition hall themed around Hello Kitty, the lovely Japanese character which has been beloved by both kids and adults since it’s creation in 1974. The museum features Hello Kitty’s house, an art gallery and other various exhibitions as well as a café where visitors can enjoy delicious Hello Kitty themed sweet desserts.

Love Land
Jeju Love Land is a theme sculpture park based on sensuality and eroticism. The spacious park is home to over 140 sculptures (40 within the gallery and 100 outside). The park as a whole looks like a piece of land art.

Udo (Cow Island)
Udo Island is one of the most visited spots in Jeju Island. Located on the east of Jeju Island beyond the Sunrise Peak, this small island can be visited after a short and refreshing 15min ferry trip during which you can take in the beauty of Udo Maritime Park. Being a lava plateau, the island provides fantastic scenic views with its beautiful natural environment which boast various coastal cliffs, white sand beaches and large patches of green fields. Visitors can enjoy wonderful views of Udo Island from the park and lighthouse situated on the peak. Various activities are available on Udo, such as fishing, biking along the coast or submarine tours.

Cheonjiyeon Waterfalls
Cheonjiyeon Falls are also named ‘The Pond of God’, as according to a legend seven fairies serving the King of Heaven came down to the pond on stairs of clouds and bathed in its clean waters. 22m high and surrounded by numerous rare plants, the waterfall is one of the top attractions on Jeju Island. The subtropical path leading to the waterfalls will guide you over a bridge with a wide variety of koi fish below, while the waterfall pond is inhabited by eels. Since they illuminate the falls at night, it is a very popular place for lovers.

Seongsan Ilchulbong
Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak is also known as the Sunrise Peak. It rose from under the sea during a volcanic eruption which took place over 100,000 years ago, this is why there is a huge crater at the top of it. The sun rising from the crater with the bright yellow colored rapeseed flowers is a magnificent sight to witness during springtime. Various trails are available for visitors to climb to the peak, and your efforts will be rewarded by the wonderful view of the island from the top of it.

Seopjikoji
Seopjikoji is the shooting location of the Korean Drama ”All in”. This place is one of the most perfect areas to enjoy the spreading Canola flowers with the breathtaking coastal rock shapes in Spring. The seashore is particularly beautiful and a walking path lead you to the lighthouse atop the hill to enjoy the view.

Jangho Beach is a true summer paradise! With its shore of white sand, wooden pond and jagged rocks rising out of clear turquoise waters, this place is a pure invitation to have a fun and exciting time. While some are picnicking on the sand or enjoying seafood in one of the numerous seaside restaurants, others are diving, fishing, riding transparent kayaks, snorkeling or just leisurely swimming in the cool waters.

Nami Island
Nami Island is a half-moon-shaped island located in Gapyeong, Gyeonggi-do. It became highly popular in 2002 after the broadcasting of the famous Korean drama ‘Winter Sonata’, as its most romantic scenes, such as the protagonists’ first kiss, were shot on this particular island. In 2006 and following its skyrocketing popularity among Koreans and foreigners, Nami Island declared its cultural independence, becoming the imaginary Naminara Republic and creating its own flag, currency, stamps, and passport!
During your walk there, you will receive warm greetings from ostriches, squirrels, rabbits, deer, and other animals that live freely in the forest. Beautifully lined with majestic trees, the “Forest of Sweethearts” is a really popular spot as it becomes the subject of splendid photos in every changing season.

Jade Garden
Jade Garden is a vast European-style arboretum in a beautiful valley just a few kilometers away from Nami Island. The botanical garden is separated into 3 distinctive zones: the European Zone, the Landscape Zone, and the Skyview Zone. It boasts more than 3,000 different vegetal species carefully cultivated over 24 various themed areas, such as the English Border Garden, the Italian Garden, the Wild Flower Hill, or the Gingko Maze. After having chosen one of the 3 different itineraries, you will enjoy a peaceful walk among the graceful plants, suspended wooden bridges, waterfalls, fountains, and the particular European-style architecture. A Tuscan-style visitors’ center stays open to provide visitors with simple snacks, beverages, or souvenirs.

Hanbok Experience
Hanbok has been the traditional Korean clothing for over 1600 years. It is a part of Korea’s traditional culture. The hanbok is now only worn for special occasions such as wedding parties or traditional holidays. You will get to wear a couple of traditional hanboks and enjoy a romantic photoshoot with your lover.

Cooking Experience with locals
This time, instead of eating at a Korean restaurant, you will learn how to cook different Korean dishes with a cute Korean host and then enjoy your own preparation!

Gyeongbokgung Palace
Built in 1395, Gyeongbokgung Palace is also commonly referred to as the “Northern Palace” because it is located the furthest north when compared to the neighboring palaces of Changdeokgung (Eastern Palace) and Gyeongheegung (Western Palace). Gyeongbokgung Palace is arguably the most beautiful and remains the largest of all five palaces. Gyeonghoeru and Hyangwonjeong Pavilions are beautiful constructions on top of ponds.

Bukchon Hanok Village & Samcheongdong
Bukchon Hanok Village sits between the two palaces of the Joseon Dynasty, Gyeongbokgung and Changdeokgung, as well as the Jongmyo Shrine. Unlike other Hanok villages, Bukchon was not created for tourists but is actually a living village inhabited by Seoulites. The village is home to hundreds of traditional houses called ‘Hanok’ that date back to the Joseon dynasty. Today, many of these hanoks operate as cultural centers, guesthouses, restaurants, and tea houses, providing an opportunity to experience, learn, and immerse in Korean traditional culture.

Hongdae
Hongdae is the most popular area among the youth. Visitors can find a plethora of small clothing and accessory shops, cosmetic shops, street food stalls, restaurants, coffee shops, street performances, and many surprising and charming hidden places. You can also enjoy a tour of Hongdae Street on a rickshaw!

Trick Eye & Ice Museum
The Trick-eye Museum is an art gallery with paintings created using ‘trompe l’oeil’ techniques that give each 2D art piece the illusion of being in 3D. Instead of merely watching paintings (as in a typical art gallery) visitors can directly interact with them, taking just the right pose to make it look like they are part of the original work! On the other hand, the Ice Museum displays impressive and fun art sculptures, as well as an ice slide. Bring a jacket, it is cold!

N Seoul Tower (Night View)
The N Tower, a complex cultural space in Seoul, is where the clouds seem to meet with Namsan Mountain. The tower was built in 1969 on the highest point of Seoul so that visitors can enjoy the best panoramic views of the city. Originally Korea’s first radio wave tower, it opened to the public in 1980, and has been a very popular tourist attraction and a resting place for citizens. Also, couples place padlocks and love notes on the roof terraces, symbolizing their strong love. Get your own love padlock too!
