Description

Busan tour

We pick up & drop off at Seoul! Drive about 4-5 hours one way between Seoul & Busan.

Situated in downtown Busan, Jagalchi Fish Market, one of the biggest fish markets in Korea, is composed of an outdoor modernized market and an indoor traditional market. You can find fresh living fish in a small aquarium, shellfish, dried seafood, and rare species(abalone, sea cucumber, mussel …). The best point of the market is that you can choose the eateries yourself and have them prepared on the spot at one of the cooking restaurants. After enjoying your seafood party, we observed lots of fishing vessels and merchant ships moving or anchored at the port. Whilst we walk to Gukje Market, we will taste some street foods such as hotddeok(seed pancake with cinnamon and brown sugar) and patbingsu(ice sherbet with red bean sauce or fruit). Also going through BIFF(Busan International Film Festival) Square, we encounter famous actors, actresses, and movie directors in the hand-printing panels with their signature on the ground floor. Gukje Market is the largest traditional market in Busan. Visitors can find various kinds of products, from everyday used items, fruits and vegetables, electronic products, and imported goods, sold at very reasonable prices.

In the middle of downtown is Yongdusan Park, which means “dragon’s head mountain,” named after its particular shape. Beautiful with diverse species of trees, the park also features the 118-meter-high observatory, Busan Tower, from which we can admire this seaside city’s dynamic and colorful scenes.

Situated on the southernmost tip of Yeongdo-gu, Taejongdae is a must-see national park for anyone coming for the first time in Busan. It was named after the 29th King of the Silla Dynasty, King Taejong, who practiced archery here after unifying the Three Kingdoms. The park is quite a vast area, and it takes several hours to visit it entirely. Therefore, visitors can ride a small train -the Danubi train- which will drive them towards the main touristic attractions such as the lighthouse, the observatory, the pebble beach, a Buddhist temple, and so on. The path going down the cliff provides spectacular views of the sea, so prepare your camera! When the weather is nice, you can see Daema Island -or Tsushima- in the distance. The Oryukdo Skywalk is a recently launched attraction that represents the dividing point between the East Sea and the South Sea. There you can enjoy one of the best views of Oryukdo Island! The hoof-shaped glass-bottomed bridge has been safely set up over a 35-meter-high cliff and stretches over 15 meters, providing strong sensations to its visitors. You will be able to observe the crashing waves and enjoy the sea air, maybe even see Daema Island in the distance, and it is clearly a good photo spot. If the thrills and spills are for you, you shouldn’t miss it!

1 review for One day Busan City Tour (From Seoul)

  1. Frances G –

I booked three tours with One Day Korea – a Seoul City Tour, Busan Tour and Suwon Fortress Tour. The services of One Day Korea are excellent, there was not much problem in communicating and booking the tour. I had three tour guides, Windy, Duke and Terry. All of them are very friendly, helpful and patient, especially Terry who brought us to the Fortress and explained very well the sites to us. I highly recommend them for tours in Korea. Thank you all for a very enjoyable trip.
