1. Try on Hanbok
What a fun experience that is trying on Hanbok, the traditional Korean outfit. This activity is fun for both adults and kids. Feel like a princess, a prince, king or queen during the Joseon Dynasty. In the rental hanbok shop, you will have a lot of choices to be able to pick “The” hanbok that fits you the best (adults and kids hanbok are available for every size).
After putting on your outfit, you will walk in the best historical places in Seoul to take the best photo shoot ever. First, you will visit Gyeongbokgung Palace (entrance free if you wear hanbok), the majestic palace and you will continue in Bukchon Hanok Village, the charming traditional village. In ancient times, Kim Shin is an unbeatable war admiral, but the young King is jealous of him and kills him. After that Kim Shin becomes a Dokkaebi and waits 900 years for his human bride to end his life… Did you watch it?

3.Water Sports
Summer in Korea is sweltering and humid! Better to refresh yourself and dive into the water!! Water sports are very popular during this season. You can enjoy different types of water games with your family! The best place is Gapyeong in Gyeonggi province.
You can choose between several water sports. The most famous ones may be the Blob Jump and Pang Pang. Some Korean celebrities tried them during some episodes of Running Man or Infinite Challenge.
The blob jump consists in an “airbag” trampoline (the blob) where a person sits waiting for another person to jump onto it from a higher platform. When the person decides to jump, the sitting person is launched into the water and can try to do some tricks while in the air.
Pang Pang is maybe a more difficult water sport but will give you strong sensations! You choose to sit down or lay down on a large board (four-five persons maximum) that will be pulled by a small boat. The speed will make it difficult to stay on the board for long. You have hand grips but just be prepared to spin off from the board and taste the temperature of water!
After an amazing time but even so exhausting, your driver will take you back to your hotel where you can recover from all the excitement of the day.

4.Canoe
Plan an outdoor activity with your family and go canoeing peacefully in the city of Chuncheon in Gangwon Province. You will sail on one of the most beautiful rivers in Korea. The province is famous for its stunning nature with emerald lakes and countless islands. The Chuncheon Mulle-gil is a beautiful and picturesque river in the middle of the beautiful landscape. Breathe the fresh air of this tranquil environment. While sailing on the river, you will feel in harmony with nature.

5.Sea train
Nature of Korea is stunning. We offer you to explore the East coast of Korea and enjoy unique activities with your family. What about taking the sea train from where you can enjoy beautiful views of the ocean. You will depart from Gangneung station. The train goes over 58km along the coast, connecting the cities of Gangneung, Donghae, and Samcheok. The train is equipped with big windows compared to regular trains so you can enjoy the full views on beaches, majestic waves and the gigantic blue ocean.
But before this unique experience, you can visit Jeongdongjin (a town near Gangneung) and its Sunrise Park, with the beach, pine trees, rocks that give the park a romantic and peaceful atmosphere. The highlight of the park is the sunrise: a beautiful spectacle to attend!
You can also visit Mukho port in Donghae famous for Mukho Lighthouse Park. Besides, you can visit Daegwallyeong Sheep Farm in Pyeongchang mountains. A beautiful place to go with your kids. As well as sheep, you can see cows and ostriches n this large green pasture!

6. Everland
Korea presents several amusement parks, but the main ones are Lotte World and Everland. Everland is the largest amusement park in Korea, based in Yongin. It is formed by different theme areas, welcomes several parade and festivals (Rose festival, Summer splash, romantic illumination, …). You and your kids will feel like you are in a fairytale.
Many activities are waiting for you. You must ride the T-express, wooden roller coaster, very popular among visitors. Likewise, you can visit Zootopia especially with the Panda World and the Lost Valley offering a safari adventure aboard an amphibian car. Or if you are a lover of plants, Plantopia will be perfect. There is even a Kids Village offering a giant playground for kids between 3 and 10 years old. ‘Thunder falls’ is also an attraction to try with your kids especially during hot season. Don’t be scared to be splashed by water.

7. Visit a local Farm
What is the best experience for kids than seeing animals and be able to feed them? Kids like wide-open spaces, they can run, and they especially like to interact with animals.
You can visit Anseong Farmland and breathe the fresh air of the countryside. The farm is located in Anseong (1.5 hours from Seoul) and offers lovely green field landscapes. This grassland welcomes goats, cows, sheep, black pigs, chickens, … All farm animals. You and your kids can feed the animals.
When you arrive in Anseong Farmland, you will notice European-style houses. The park is divided into 5 parts. One of the parts is Moomoo ville where you can feed all the farm animals, some of them wandering freely in the area. Then you have Miru Hill, a large Greenland where you can have a nice walk taking advantages of the beauty of natural landscapes. Then, you can have a break in one of the restaurants of Deutsche Ville, German-style village. You can go to Horse Ville where your kids can enjoy riding a horse and feed their new friend with carrots.
Finally, you can find food and refreshments in Food Ville. You can buy organic products from the farm.
Your children will never want to leave this wonderful place! A perfect day in summer!

8.Fruit Picking
Fruit picking is an excellent activity to share with your children.
The country presents several fruit farms where you can pick fresh fruits and then bring them back home. Depending on the season, you can pick apples, strawberries, grape or blueberries. In summer you can pick grape and apple (apple in summer and autumn). In winter and spring, it is strawberry’s and blueberry’s season !!
After picking the fruits, you can make your own cake or fruit jam. And then you can savor it, sharing with all your family :)

9.Cooking lesson -Kimchi Making
Share a moment with your family by cooking Korean dishes together.
You will learn how to make Kimchi. Kimchi is the most famous side dish in Korea. A Korean meal cannot be complete without Kimchi. It is made with salted and fermented cabbage seasoning with a good balance of chili powder, garlic, and ginger.
You can also try to cook Tteokbokki, spicy rice cake, very appreciated by Koreans.

11.Rail Bike
Have you ever ride a rail bike? If not, you should try it! Railbike is a very popular attraction in Korea. It enables you to enjoy nice landscapes.
The most popular one is Gangchon Rail Bike in Gyeonggi province because it offers splendid mountainous sceneries along with the clear Bukhangang River. But also because it has been the filming locations of famous Korean TV shows: Running Man and We Got Married.
During the ride, you will pass through tunnels illuminated by colorful lights. It takes about 1 hour and a half, and a rest-stop is available halfway where you can buy refreshments.

12. Cultural activity: Korean Folk Village and Suwon Fortress Castle Tour

Suwon Hwaseong Fortress is an impressive structure from the latter part of the Joseon Dynasty (1392-1910), and it is also the official fortress of Suwon city. It was built under the reign of King Jeongjo (1752 – 1800), one of the most successful rulers of the Joseon dynasty because of his modern visions.
