Description

Day 1 Arrival to Incheon International Airport, transfer to Seoul

After arrival at Incheon airport, meet our driver and then go to your hotel in Seoul. We recommended you book the hotel in Myeongdong if you are the first time to visit Korea.

Day 2 Relaxing at the No.1 designated National Park

Drive about 3 hours from Seoul to Mt. Seoraksan, Korea ’s number 1 designated national park. On the East Sea, we can enjoy both the sceneries of the mountain and coast range together! It is always the subject of wonderful pictures. Its natural scenery follows the season changes with either autumn-hued maple trees in Fall or the intense green trees with some remains of snow in Spring and so on.

Day 3 Go to Nami Island, Petite France, the most popular drama shooting places

Nami Island became highly popular in 2002 after the broadcasting of the famous Korean drama ‘Winter Sonata’, as its most romantic scenes such as the protagonists’ first kiss were shot on this particular island. Petite France would appear to be a village that belongs on the Mediterranean coast or in a pastoral area of the Piedmont Alps. But it is, in fact, a French cultural village set in the Korean countryside! Petite France serves as both a French cultural village and a youth training facility (Goseong Youth Training Center) and consists of 16 French-style buildings where visitors can lodge and experience French food, clothing, and household culture.

From December to March, we will visit Nami Island, Petite France & The Garden of Morning Calm lighting festival. From April to November, we will ride the rail bike, visit Nami Island & Petite France.

Day 4 Visit the landmarks of Seoul – Gyeongbokgung Palace & Namsan Tower

Today, our guide accompany you to the landmarks of Seoul city. Gyeongbokgung Palace, built in 1395, is also commonly referred to as the Northern Palace because its location is the furthest north when compared to the neighboring palaces of Changdeokgung Palace (Eastern Palace) and Gyeonghuigung (Western Palace) Palace. Gyeongbokgung Palace is arguably the most beautiful and remains the largest of all five palaces. You will choose your Hanbok (Korean traditional costume) and wear it at the palace and the Hanok village. After return the Hanbok, free time and lunch in Insadong Art Valley, then visit Jogyesa temple and Namsan Tower. On the top of Namsan mountain, there is the Palgakjeong Pavilion, which has a fantastic view. At Seoul Tower (479.7m), you can view the whole landscape of Seoul and west sea beyond Incheon.

Day 5 See the demarcation of North Korea and South Korea at the infamous border (DMZ)

Visit the third tunnel discovered in 1978 by South Korean forces. It spans over 1,635m in length, 2m in width and 2m in height and is located 52km from Seoul.  It is estimated that approximately 30,000 soldiers could move through the tunnel per hour. The scale is similar to the 2nd tunnel, but it was thought to be more threatening as an invasion tool than the 1st and 2nd tunnels. Free time shopping in Paju Premium Outlet in the afternoon.
